If you want to make and impression with girls then you got to learn to be funny. Girls love guys who are humorous and entertaining. Research has it that the number one desirable characteristics that the opposite sex normally seek in the other is that of being humorous. If you are not funny you are condemned to a life of loneliness. So, how do you learn to be funny?

The journey towards being funny begins by learning from those people who are already funny. In short, be a fun of watching commedians in their shows and see how they do it. As you are watching these commedias at their act do take note of the lines that had you bursting with laughter. Read books written by those commedians that you admire, magazines, comics and others that are generally funny. Take note of works done by the following authors : Douglas Adams, Bill Bryson, Woody Allen and Stephen Fry. These books are good sources of humorous materials that you can use in different situations.

Another thing, never forget the joke books. Those books that used to crack your ribs when you were a kid are good sources of humor. In fact reading them will help you dicipher what makes the jokes so good that even when you are older you will still laugh at them. Having this knowledge will help you come up with a few jokes on your own.

Birds of the same fethers flock together. In short, funny people stick together. If you want to learn how to be funny then get some new friends who have a sense of humor. Having funny friends around you is the easiest way of learning how to be funny. Why? Their humor will rub off on you. By the very fact that you spend time together you get to learn eveyday how they react to every single situation and how the manage to capitalize on such situations by making fun of them. Take note though, if their source of humor is usually to the expense of others, those are not good role-models to keep, find others.
